The London Open welcomes the worldwide Racketlon community back to one of the most famous and exclusive sports clubs in the UK: The Roehampton Club in south London.

After the huge success of the 2019 Challenger tournament which sold out in under 4 hours of the entry being open, the London Open at Roehampton is now back and has now been upgraded to an International World Tour (IWT) event – and after being voted as “International Tournament of the Year 2019” at the UK Racketlon Awards and voted by international players as having the best “Off Court Venue Facilities” and the 2nd best “Playing Facilities” on the whole 2019 FIR World Tour, the 2022 tournament is likely to be very popular!

Boris Becker, Goran Ivanisevic, Michael Chang, Lleyton Hewitt, Pat Cash and Andy Murray are just some of the iconic names that have all regularly used the Roehampton Club’s immaculate grass tennis courts to fine tune their games immediately before Wimbledon.

This is once again a very special opportunity to play grass court tennis on the FIR World Tour! (With all players needing to follow the club dress code of playing tennis in all white clothing!)

…and on some of the most famous grass tennis courts in the UK, as well as on perfectly maintained squash courts (used in many national UK competitons) and a brand new building holding the badminton (on tournament mats) and Table Tennis.

All whilst relaxing amongst the gardens, fountains and exceptional facilities of the Roehampton Club including a dedicated Player’s Lounge with excellent food and drink options available throughout the weekend.

We only have room for approximately 80 players for this tournament, so the capacity is limited and early entry is essential.

Online entries will open at 19.00 (UK time) / 20.00 (CET) on Wednesday 4th May.

The last tournament here sold out in 4 hours, so if you want to play the 2022 IWT London Open, please set a reminder in your diary and get your entry in as soon as online entries are opened!

Venue Information

Before talking about the actual racket sports facilities, it is worth mentioning the gardens, the fountains, the croquet lawns, the immaculate changing rooms, the prestigious golf course, and the luxurious club house!

The Club’s brand-new indoor tennis facility will host the Table Tennis and Badminton – all on 3 brand-new roll out tournament mats. A 3 minute walk through the Club’s gardens will take you to the squash complex with 5 perfectly maintained glass back courts.

We then have the choice of the club’s 10 grass tennis courts to finish matches in style!
