We’re very proud and excited to once again bring the FIR World Racketlon Tour back to Malta!
One of the most popular tournaments with all the players and a great opportunity to enjoy a tournament and holiday all in one!
As always at the Malta Open, we will put on a great programme for all the players.
Pool area at Marsa Sports Club
Being able to relax in between matches amongst the amazing surroundings of the Marsa Sports Club, whilst also organising BBQ’s, Sightseeing Tours, Padel, Boat Trips and a whole lot of night time activity.
Malta is a fantastic place with a huge amount to do and to explore and the weather in May will be a very warm, consistent 25 degrees – we look forward to welcoming the worldwide Racketlon community back to Malta this May!

Venue Information
The Marsa Sports Club offers fantastic Racketlon facilities including:
– Excellent tournament quality Tibhar TT tables courtesy of HiTT Malta
– Badminton played on tournament mats provided by Badminton Malta
– Air-conditioned glass back squash courts with seating for 150 spectators on centre court
– Outdoor hard court tennis, under palm trees, with excellent spectator seating on all courts.
Off-court at the Marsa, players + friends & family can enjoy:
– Lounging by the huge pool area
– Various outdoor club restaurants & bars
– The Royal Malta Golf Club
– Manicured gardens
– Cricket pitch

Accommodation Details
This year we are offering an Accommodation & Transport Package to all players which will include:
– 3 nights Bed & Breakfast at the 3 star Tournament Hotel
*extra night= EUR39 per person (double/twin) or EUR70 (single)*
– Shuttle pick up from the airport to tournament hotel (or to Marsa Sports Club)
– Shuttle back to the airport
– All transport between the Tournament Hotel & the Marsa Club during the tournament.
*all transport is only reserved for those players who book an Accommodation & Transport Package*
“Accommodation & Transport” Package Cost:
Double/Twin: EUR152 per person (3 nights + all transport)
Single: EUR245 (3 nights + all transport).
The Tournament Hotel is the Alexandria Hotel in St Julians which has many restaurants, bars and clubs all within walking distance. The hotel has a rooftop pool, free wifi and wellness centre.

Tournament Entry
Online entries for the tournament open at 12.00 cet on Friday 25th Feb. ENTER HERE
In order to enter you need to have an FIR License. GET LICENSE
We have a limited amount of places for this tournament so please enter early to avoid disappointment!
Travel
There are many different low cost airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Wizair etc) who all fly direct to Malta from all over Europe. Air Malta is the national airline which also runs many direct flights to many cities across Europe.
Malta International airport is less than 20 minutes from the Tournament Hotel and less than 10 mins to the Marsa Sports Club.
All transport to and from the airport will be provided to those who have the “Accommodation & Transport” Package
