UPDATE (28th Aug 2020): Due to the continued uncertainty caused by the general increase in covid infection rates across Europe and the many new travel restrictions now in place, it has been decided that we will have to cancel this tournament.

This has been a very difficult decision and we apologise to all those affected, but the challenges have been too difficult to organise a big international tournament with players from so many different countries in the current corona climate. We’re very pleased and proud to announce the launch of SWT Racketfest to be held at the outstanding World Championships venue: Sportpark Leipzig.

All players can enjoy the same world champonships facilities across all 4 sports, live streaming, a spa area, 4 star tournament hotel right next to the venue as well as a welcome meal on Thurs evening, a Friday night BBQ and the player’s dinner and party on Saturday in the now legendary hotel basement dancing bar!

We look forward to welcoming you all back on court and crowning the first ever SWT Racketfest winners in what will be a special tournament.

Covid-19 Update

Due to the low infection rates in the Saxonia/Leipzig region of Germany, official local law has stated that events of less than 1000 people may take place from July 14th 2020 onwards.

There are currently no travel restrictions into Germany from countries within the EU / Shengen area or from the United Kingdom.

The list of countries outisde the EU from which unrestricted travel is allowed into Germany is growing regularly – details of this list of countries is updated regularly and details can be found at this link: Travel Restrictions to Germany

We are working closely with Sportpark Leipzig to come up with a detailed plan of running the tournament in the safest way possible where the health and well being of all the players is our main priority…but we are very excited to be able to get everyone back on court at the first Supr World Tour of the year!

Due to the ever changing situation it is the responsibility of all the players to book travel and accommodation options that are flexible or to have insurance that can cover any possible change or cancellation of the tournament due to any change in coronavirus restrictions.
