After an unforgettable 3 previous World Championships in Rotterdam, 2026 will be the final edition before the world championships move to a brand new location – so we hope to make this year the best Rotterdam World Champs yet!
Victoria remains one of the very best Racketlon venues in the world…and for a tournament of this size: 500 players, 80+ teams, over 1500 matches over 5 days, then Victoria remains the perfect venue with very good international connections, large amount of high quality courts and with spectator seating for over 1000.

Venue Information
Victoria is one of the best known clubs in The Netherlands and boasts some incredible facilities:

– Very large bar & restaurant area (overlooking squash and tennis centre courts)

Accomodation Options

Option 1: Camping at Victoria Sports Complex
A very popular option – so please reserve your spot via the form early!
Large green field right next to the venue. Showers, toilets and lockers available in the sports centre from 6am til midnight. The venue will also provide an excellent breakfast (EUR10) for all campers every morning, but this must be booked in advance on the form.
Overnight toilets, electricity sockets, lighting are all provided in the field.
You must bring your own tent and camping equipment.
Camper vans are also fine to bring to the tournament.
We have applied for a special permit from Rotterdam City to allow camping and so we will have a limited number of camping spaces and a limited number of people able to camp – PLEASE RESERVE YOUR SPACE EARLY!
EUR10 per person per night. Supplement of EUR10 per night for camper vans.
Please fill out the form before 13th July 2026 to reserve your camping spot stating the size of your tent / camper and for how many people. (but camping spaces may sell out before the deadline – so first come first served. Please book early)

Option 2: City Hub, Rotterdam
Fantatsic location right in the heart of Rotterdam, this is a pod / capsule hotel with your own private, very comfortable double bed pod, with wardrobe space, wifi and use of a very well maintained shared bathroom area.

City Hub has excellent reviews and is a great accommodation option at a very good price. It is a 3 mins walk from Eendrachtsplein station which has regular direct trains, which take 9 mins to Kralingse Zoom (for Victoria sports centre)

Option 3: FLOATS by H2OTEL
A unique opportunity to stay in Rotterdam harbour on a beautiful floating hotel on the water with direct connections by public transport to the sports centre: 5 mins walk to Blaak station where there are regular, direct trains only 7 mins away from Kralingse Zoom (the stop for the sports centre).
Sleep, eat and drink looking directly out across the water – right in the heart of Rotterdam!

Very nice 4 star hotel that is 16 mins walking distance from the Victoria Sports Complex.
Single, Double / Twin and Triple rooms are available and all rates include the hotel’s excellent full breakfast buffet.
Children u16 can stay for free.

Food & Entertainment
Food
This year there will be a selection of different pasta dishes available all day and night from 11.30am til late on every day of the tournament.
As well as the pasta options there will also be an additional evening meal option available til late on every day of the tournament – the evening meal special must be booked in advance and players will be sent the booking form for evening meals about 1 month before the tournament.
The sandwich bar + small warm and cold snacks will be available from the bar on every day of the tournament.
The Player’s Dinner will take place at Victoria on Friday night, followed by the Player’s Party…
After many compliments from the last 2 years, the Victoria bar will still stock its impressively wide range of different beers!
There will also be the option to eat breakfast at Victoria every morning (EUR10 per person): buns, croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, Yoghurt, cereals and fruit. But this must be booked in advance

ONLINE ENTRY FIR RACKETLON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
Restrictions / Entry Rules: OPEN CATEGORIES (Men’s & Women A to F & First Timers)
It is NOT possible for anyone to enter two different Open Categories (eg entering Men’s D and Men’s E is NOT allowed).
Anyone entering the First Timer’s Category is NOT allowed to also enter a 2nd category including age group category (junior or senior).
Please enter early to avoid disappointment – last year we had to close entries to some categories before the official entry deadline:
o Entries to the Men’s Open Categories (A to F) may need to be capped at 192 total entries.
o Entries to the First Timer’s category is capped at 16 entries
SENIOR CATEGORIES
Men’s Senior Players (40+ to 75+ inclusive) can only play in one age group category (they are however also able to enter any additional open category).
Women’s Senior Players can play in two consecutive age group categories (eg 40+ and 45+, but not 45+ and 55+). They may also choose to play in one age group and one open category.
For Men’s Seniors categories: 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ – it may be necessary to cap these to 24 entries – for Men’s Senior categories: 65+, 70+, 75+ – it may be necessary to cap them at 16 entries…so please enter early to avoid disappointment.
JUNIOR CATEGORIES
Junior players (u10, u12, u14, u16 and u18) can choose to play in 2 consecutive age group categories (eg u12 and u14 or u18 & u21, but NOT, for example u12 & u16 or u16 & u21).
Junior players in u10, u12, 14, u16 and u18 cannot enter an open category (as a 2nd category)
Junior players in the u21 can enter an open category as a 2nd category (as they don’t have the option to enter two junior categories)
“EUR10 LAST MINUTE ENTRY”
The “EUR10 last minute entry” surcharge will be added to all Singles Entries received after 15th June 2026 (1 month before entry deadline of 13th July)
If you know you are playing, please enter early! You are able to withdraw your entry with no cancellation charge up to the official entry deadline of 13th July 2026.
Early entries for such a big tournament are a huge help to the organisation.
All players must have a valid 2025 FIR Player’s License before entering online. Go to this link in order to get FIR Player License

PRIZE MONEY:
Total Prize money pool will be confirmed 1 month prior to the tournament and will be split 50:50 between the Men’s & Women’s elite singles top 4 placed players (with the split in accordance with FIR Tournament Regulations on prize money).
TEAMS
National Federations should register their teams by 11.59 CET on Friday 19th June 2026…and must enter the players names for each team by 6th July 2026 (one change to players in teams can also be made nearer the tournament if necessary).
National Federations will be contacted directly with the necessary links and details to enter their teams.
Playing Conditions
Table Tennis

Badminton
Indoor Sports Hall on rubber flooring + also 3x tournament badminton mats (shuttles to be confirmed)
Squash
High quality glass backed, temperature controlled courts + 2x glass show courts using Dunlop Pro double yellow balls
Tennis
Outdoor clay courts (as used at ATP Challenger Tour Event). Indoor, Rebound Ace hard courts (but these will only be used as back up in case of rain), using Dunlop Fort All Court balls
Warm up courts and tables will be available throughout the tournament to allow players the perfect preparation for their matches.
Travel
Rotterdam has excellent road and rail connections, making it very accessible by car or train from many countries: France, Belgium, Germany, GB, Switzerland etc. We have put together some extra information for players who would like more information about traveling to Rotterdam by train: FIR Sustainable Travel
Schipol Airport (Amsterdam) is also one of Europe’s biggest hub airports with direct flights from all over the world. There are then regular, direct trains leaving Schipol airport going direct to Rotterdam Central station (Schipol to Rotterdam Central takes 25 mins).
Rotterdam itself is a city designed around its excellent and reliable public transport system of trains, trams and buses which can take you everywhere. The nearest stop to the Victoria Sports Complex is Kralingse Zoom which is 10 mins walk away.
